Matt is a top-performing business broker at Sunbelt, bringing over 25 years of experience helping clients buy and sell businesses across Minnesota and the greater Midwest. Known for his sharp negotiation skills and deep industry insight, Matt expertly guides clients through every stage of the sales process. He holds business broker licenses in both Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Matt specializes in business valuation and structuring deals that successfully reach the closing table. His proven track record and commitment to excellence have earned him multiple Sunbelt Broker of the Year awards. To date, he has facilitated over 300 business transactions in the Minneapolis–St. Paul area, spanning both franchise and privately owned businesses.

Before joining Sunbelt, Matt owned and operated his own sales and distribution company, working directly with a wide range of small business owners. His diverse background includes strong experience in sales, marketing, finance, and operations management.

In addition to his work with clients, Matt has held leadership roles in sales management, where he’s mentored and supported new agents through their first deals. He has also played an active role in recruiting and training new business brokers.
